Sometimes it was difficult, it took a lot of time to figure out some details, although the material was presented well and clearly. Even though it wasn't easy, I received an incredible pleasure from the result and the process. Thanks to SheCodes for such a cool opportunity.

This is my second workshop and it gets better with more interesting concepts to learn like API integration. I enjoyed this workshop especially building the weather app and adding functionality to it.

I never imagined I would actually enjoy coding, or remotely be interested, but after taking the free intro to coding course, and signing up for the SheCodes Basics program, I have grown to really enjoy learning how to code. I've thoroughly enjoyed completing the SheCodes Basics course and I'm so proud to show off my certificate! It's been a real learning journey so far and I'm not just referring to the skills I've learnt with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Another key lesson has been not to give up. When there's a bug in the code, it is there somewhere, I've just got to find it and it has often been as simple as a missing "+". It's so satisfying to suddenly find the fix and realise my code was otherwise valid! Looking forward to embarking on the next part of the course now.

The method of having a small challenge after every lesson was great and it really pushed me to learn more. After those, I felt more confident to really tackle the main project.

I really enjoyed this 1-week workshop! I learned how to create a landing page with animations on a nice grid layout, as well as some JavaScript to make buttons work. After having taken a break from web dev coding, this was a great way to get back into it.

JS is a bit too complex for me, but I really loved to build a weather app and understanding how everything is related! Definitely recommend taking the course if your goal is to understand how CSS, HTML and JS works together.

The course is highly practical and the tasks allow you to build up the skills gradually. I particularly appreciated the tasks dealing with developer tools. The information given is up-to-date and the presentation is interesting. The course also gamifies learning making each new stage feel like a new level in a game.

I completed Shecodes basics a few years ago and I have recently enrolled and completed Plus. When I saw the Basics Add-On I decided to complete it although I thought that my coding level was already above. That was not the case, I learned many new things and got to get more insights into some of the properties that I already knew. Highly recommend it.
It exceeded my expectations! I had some previous knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and the structured curriculum made it easy to review the basics, while challenging myself into more advanced topics. What set this course apart was the weekly deadlines and its commitment to staying current — covering the latest updates and best practices in web development. The challenges in each lesson provided a practical edge, allowing me to immediately apply and update my skills. The course had a cool interactive setup with example projects, and we could chat and get support on Slack. It felt like a community, making learning not just educational but also really fun. Overall, it's a must for anyone looking to learn the basics from zero and/or refresh their knowledge in web development.

This is not my first attempt at learning to code but sheCodes gave me the CONFIDENCE to be a coder. I was intimidated to start coding because I have never been very good at numbers, and it always looked so confusing. After doing the SheCodes programme, I realised how accessible it actually is to start coding. I'm very excited to see what I can do next after finishing this course.
Put this off for a while but really pleased I did it! The lessons were great to follow and worked really well as they are done at your own pace. Having known nothing about coding I really didn't know what to expect but it really is for all ability's. Would really recommend!
This was a great intro to coding. I literally knew nothing before and by week 3 I felt like I could play around with the languages and understood the basics!

I was super excited to create this project. I had so much fun and I gained so much experience and confidence to do "bigger" projects. I learned more in javascript and I am excited to go build different applications with what I have learned.

I started my coding journey a couple of weeks ago. I have a non-technical background and I have developed my career in client-facing and pure business roles. For years, I have told myself the coding world wasn't something for me. Needless to say, three weeks into the SheCodes course and I feel like I was completely wrong. Coding is fun, and brings out a lot of my creativity and makes me constantly think. I highly recommend SheCodes!

The instructor made it easy to follow along. The one thing that I could not have gotten by with out was the inspect console. Thanks to the instructor telling us to check our code there I was many times able to see where my code was going wrong and was able to correct it.
The SheCodes Basics Add-On workshop had a simple project but with so many new concepts and tricks to learn. I also recommend this workshop for beginners who are learning the fundamentals of web development. I really enjoyed it.

It's an amazing tool to learn! I would suggest making your home page as clean as you can, SEO friendly, adding header and footers, and with as good structure and class names as possible before adding the rest of the pages, this will save you a lot of time when building the rest of the pages.

I had already had experience with coding and html. This basics shecodes course helped me to understand many concepts like dual padding,box-shadow and the rgba that they never taughts us at coding camp. I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a little insight into the art of coding. The content is easy to understand and there are interesting exercises and challenges. Overall it's really fun! My goal is to get to frontend development and get a job as a frontend developer. So far, I feel that this is achievable based on my experience during this workshops.

It was totally challenging but if you put in the hours and start knowing how to use the tools, the path can get a lot easier.
What a journey! I have just completed my very last workshop from shecodes and I won't get tired recommending it to friends. There are so many hints, tips and advice I received throughout my studies I am really grateful for. Also, as I come to realize that this is just the start, and that there are so many more options in creating a webpage, that this work is absolutely speaking to my creative half of the brain, and I am loving it!
