It's been deep learning, getting the insides of React was i most say not easy but very rewarding after going through. Instructor Delac and the shecodes team, i don't know what i would have done without you. Each day as i go through the shecodes workshops, my confidence rise more and more in this tech journey i wish to take. Thank you shecodes team, thank you instructor Mathieu, you are an instructor i'll choose over and over!!
I've tried a few different introductory coding courses in the past, but SheCodes Basics was the one I was able to finally stick with. Matt's instructions were easy to follow and the projects were interesting. I also really appreciated the real time community feedback and help through Slack. I look forward to continuing my coding journey with SheCodes!
i have been wanting to do something different that can allow me to have the privilege of working at home when i had to, as a single mum.but most important is that i had always had interest in coding but did not know how to go about it, but then saw the recommendation about Shecodes. After a while joined the course and i have no single regret, glad i joined.
The SheCodes Basics course was, at the same time, everything that I hoped for and much more than I imagined. The classes were short, but packed with knowledge and information, and even though I had a lot to learn every week, I never felt lost or overwelmed. I learned more than I could have ever expected in such a short period of time and I will be forever grateful for the SheCodes comunity
It has been one of the things I have enjoyed the most when learning, I didn't know anything about codes, learning the basics and that fast is gratifying and encourages me to continue.
Basics for me was not hard because i am not new in coding but still have some gapes especially in css.
Loved it!! ALL of it - such an enjoyable course in discovering how much fun coding is. Big head-scratchers, but they made figuring these out by applying learnings soooo worth it. Thanks Team!
SheCodes Plus was a great addition to furthering my skills in web design! It is a bit more challenging but the lessons are well thought out and Matt takes the time to make sure everything is well understood.

As a coding newbie this has been challenging but so much fun! It's a great start to learning the basics. I love the small, focused steps of learning with application tasks throughout the week followed by a more challenging application task at the end of the week. The scaffolding of the learning is fantastic with learners signposted to lots of resources to help them. While my end of unit project won't win any design awards, I'm so proud of what I have learned in just 3 weeks!
I love learning more and more code to make my webpages better.
I love how I can follow along with Matt. It helps me because I am a visual learner and once I see what I have then all the dots start to connect.
This has been my very first experience with Coding. The best part of coding to me is to see the results of your work straight away. I love that I have now learnt how to create the basics of a website and I have really enjoyed seeing this first project from start to finish. I am really looking forward to continuing to the next level with SheCodes! 😀
I really enjoyed this workshop - you learn a lot of cool things in a short amount of time. The structure of the course is great and I like how all the lessons before it are then used to create the final project which really helps build the coding skills into your muscle memory.
I was very much looking forward to my SheCodes Max experience in hopes of transitioning into a new career as a front-end developer in the future. I had a positive experience in the basics course ( although I did wonder if they would actually give detailed support and feedback on your progress going forward) as this didn't appear to be present in spite of the website and course outlines claiming that feedback, support and homework reviews are a part of the courses. It seems they use the basics course to lure people into paying for the larger courses without then delivering on quality and support or content and then hit you with their discreet "NO REFUND" policy if you question their lack of delivery on their service promises. The course was shockingly poor with absolutely zero support available. The course encourages you to copy and paste code into your solutions, for homework and projects and the team do not care if you understand the material. I struggled through 9 weeks all the while asking for support and explanations and all I got in response was invalidating and patronising responses from the so-called customer success team. I put in 35 hours plus per week to try and understand the content, doing my own research online and buying books. I knew I could not successfully achieve my outcomes with this course platform to become a front-end developer without any support or tutors to help me. The videos were outdated from 2015 which also made learning the content even more confusing. They have x2 technicians who are supposed to answer questions on Slack of 100's of students, responses coming hours and days later with simple responses asking you to copy and paste code with no explanations to help you understand. I asked for a refund as I paid £1084 for SheCodes Max and had not learned anything in 9 weeks. I was hit with the company's hidden "NO REFUND POLICY" Be careful! I did manage to get them to return some of the money but still wasted almost £500 on 9 weeks of hard work, struggling alone to gain nothing at the end of it but back and forth invalidating communication from the team. I will not recommend this course or company to people who seriously want to learn coding.
I started this course knowing absolutely nothing about coding and finished this short course with a lot of knowledge about what coding is and even could be. I find myself thinking how certain websites were coded and how I would go about it myself. Although it was a lot of information, Matt did a great job at teaching clearly, having the videos to refer back too was a great help too.

Wow, this one is certainly more challenging than the basics but feels rewarding to have got to the end. The project is well broken down.

I enjoyed this workshop because it's funny for me to create landing pages, but I honestly hoped I could learn something more. I think it's perfect for people who still struggle with CSS.

I started this course as I was working on a new website build and was struggling to understand the coded side of things, this course has given me a wealth of knowledge! I thought it was all explained very well and having a challenge after each lesson really helped to cement what I'd learnt! Would highly recommend!
My journey with She Codes Basics was nothing short of amazing. As someone with no prior coding experience, I was apprehensive about delving into the world of web development. The Responsive Course does a great job outlining how to make your code look great on all devices. I really enjoyed working on the final project and found it very useful as I'm now using it for my job hunt.

I'm excited to announce that I've completed the SheCodes basics online course. I gained useful experience while learning to code and surprised myself with my ability to retain knowledge in a subject field which I previously thought was difficult and complex. I have thoroughly enjoyed these last 8 months or so learning all of what SheCodes has to offer me. While this React course was difficult at times, I feel it has helped me become a better coder. Matt has been an exceptional instructor and all the SheCodes staff have been excellent whenever a question arises. I just wish SheCodes had even more advanced React classes to take. I'm excited for the last add-on course and will be forever thankful to SheCodes for helping me find my passion in Front End Development!
I really enjoyed learning and creating my weather app. It was challenging at times but the delivery of the content makes it fun to learn and keep going. looking forward to the next workshop.
After finishing SheCodes Basics and the SheCodes Basics Add-On project I knew I had to keep going. This project was super complex, but I enjoyed learning all the different components of integrating the API, adding all the functionalities, and even making it look aesthetically pleasing. Even though sometimes I struggled when coding, I loved learning how to code a weather app and integrating API (real data) to the weather app. It feels so fascinating when you make something work ! SheCodes makes it easy to digest all the information into smaller lessons. And using VS Code, GitHub and Netlifly to publish the web apps, made it like I am one step closer to become a full-fledged front-end developer. :)

I sincerely thank Matte and others for giving me chance to study Coding. In all honesty, I started this course without even knowing or having a knowledge of what I was doing. The only thing I knew on computer is typing in Ms Word and Excel. I really struggled to understand some terms but I did not give up. I started getting everything right in week three. During the 3rd week I found myself able to code and built on some assignments. I was really happy.
Learning react was very challenging but I did learn so much from this course.

This program has been great and I love that I have homework on actual due dates - a lot of online courses let you work as you go with zero due dates and I these dues dates have been keeping me in CHECK! I am here for the whole she-bang and doing every single workshop and add-on projects and Imma take a stab at the CHALLENGE PROJECTS!
This workshop for beginners was very easy to follow and I enjoyed learning about the basics of coding. I also liked how asking for help on Slack was very accessible and it created a sense of community for new coders like me.
I've already taken several workshops. I always learn with the SheCodes workshops. They challenge me to learn more, and allow me to do plenty of hands-on projects.

I would highly recommend this course if you're wondering what is like to code or if you have a busy schedule but are eager to learn. To me, it was extremely useful and super fun! I learned a lot and now I'm 100% sure I will continue coding. 👩💻 I loved the way lessons are separated into short clips because it makes it really easy to follow or rewatch if needed. Matt is a very good instructor and I found his explanations very clear (thank you!). Also, I loved the Radio station 🎧 and Athena was a life-savior when I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my code. 🤖🙌✨
I really enjoyed going through SheCodes. The challenges were helpful to really grasp some of the concepts, and having the ability to work around my own schedule was great.
The course material is easy to grasp but comprehensive enough to empower you to succeed in your coding journey. And it's great that there's a community you can reach out to if needed and deadlines to keep you accountable and always coding.

I initially thought it was going to be daunting to learn how to code but it ended up being enjoyable. I won't lie it would get challenging but through doing my own research and the help of the Slack community, I would quickly overcome the challenge. The study material is spaced in such a way that you can take in a good amount of information in one video.The challenges were how I got to practice what I have learned and more.
