I always come back to SheCodes. I learn so much and I want to fully jump into my new career thanks to these courses!
The SheCodes Responsive workshop is very well taught. The lessons are extremely easy to understand and everything is explained in detail, you could take your time in learning how to code and the SheCodes website has a lot of free material that you can use and take inspiration from.
A rather brilliant introduction to the coding basics. Matt doesn't bombard you with too much information, but instead focuses on the core foundations you need to know to make something simple but effective.

Basics add-on was a nice way to combine everything that I had learned in the basics workshop.
Thanks to SheCodes I've learned how to build a weather app using HTML, CSS and JS. It hasn't been easy, but it's allowed me to challenge myself and unlock this new interest of mine. I can't wait to learn more about JS, and I am looking forward to the next workshops from the platform.

I had so much fun! It was a challenge initially because everything was new to me, but after a few classes, I was super excited to keep learning. All the classes and challenges were super helpful to learn. I'm excited to keep developing my coding skills!!
React is a real challenge. Currently, I'm not sure at all that I am able to create any react app without Matt's videos. However, I'm happy it's done. Maybe, after some time, I will feel better to try my force in SheCodes challenges. Good luck and patience to everybody!
After trying many different resources to learn to code, Shecodes has got to be the best! I enjoyed learning how to code, which motivated me to continue my journey. Starting my coding journey with Shecodes was the best choice I've ever made!

The additional project was really helpful to practice the basics of React and to get more hands-on experience with a real project. I enjoyed working on this application and can recommend adding this add-on to the SheCodes Pro workshops.

Add-on full of grid knowledge which is used almost everywhere, so is dark theme. Definitely useful in future :)
SheCodes gave me the best introduction to coding. I think it can be difficult, especially when one small error can cause a piece of code to not run. Everyone should sign up, and the fact that it is affordable yet informative is amazing. I'm excited to keep going.
SheCodes gave me the confidence to enter my coding journey with *zero* experience. The lessons are comprehensive and aren't super long which makes it easy to knock out lessons and begin to implement what you've learned. I never saw coding as an "easy" thing to do, but SheCodes makes it incredibly accessible to everyone. So thankful I started this journey and can't wait to continue practicing what I've learned and continue to add my skillset!

This is a very good course for a beginner. The provided videos and resources are great for someone without previous background, although I would recommend to go for the available longer terms to go for a deeper dive into coding.

One of my favorite things about SheCodes, is the time and content management in sessions. the lessons just long enough to deliver the main idea; after which, you will be able to learn more by spending more time studying the extra references and examples, or keep going on with your current knowledge. The videos are short and sweet and to the point, but to the point and practical; so no more long boring tutorials, but also no more tutorials in which the instructor just doesn’t go through the important steps and leaves you with so many questions and Errors in your code. As someone with a full time job who is also pursuing a master’s degree, I especially recommend SheCodes and it’s method/system of education to people who struggle to find the time for learning. Also, I already had some coding base, and having seen some other courses and methods, I believe that THIS can be a great place to start for the absolute beginners.

Hello, I think taking Shecode workshop was defiantly a great decision. At first I was a little hesitant because I’m a busy mom of two toddlers. I spent about 1-2 hrs per day on the lessons. Matt is at amazing teacher he really breaks down each lesson for easy understanding. This workshop was 3 weeks long and it covered the fundamentals . I would defiantly take more shecodes workshops.
I enjoyed learning how to build a page from scratch. This experience was the best. I have a perfect understanding of how everything has a function.
I just wanted to share a quick note and let you know that I'm glad I decided to learn with SheCodes. It's really great how easy you teach everything, every thing is so update and perfect.
My journey as a frontend developer, has been an interesting one, Courtesy to Shecodes I can make a page responsive using media querry and bootstrap fot this has always been a challenge, but with matt class, i got a better understandeing on how to go about it an i got better. thanks shecodes for this great opportunity.

SheCodes is really well structured, with short lessons and challenges after each lesson, it gives you the right pace and constance, keeping your attention span high and, mostly, your motivation to keep going and always want to learn more and more. No need to sit glued to your chair taking boring, hours-long lessons that get you nowhere... Coding is mostly PRACTICE and Matt knows it well, taking the education system to another level: smart, fun and productive, focusing on quality over quantity, as lessons are short but they give you ALL the tools you need to start coding on your own. SheCodes learning path is as simple as it is effective, and it is "programmed" for literally anyone. In only three weeks I was able to build a project which I really love and I am very proud of. And last but not least, the SheCodes Community is always there to whatever difficult you may encounter and is so supportive! Thank you SheCodes, I'd recommend it to anyone!
Few years ago I've moved to a different country. I felt stuck, couldn't find my place. Meantime I had a baby and when I had to go back to work I've decided I want to do more and want to learn something new. Luckily I find SheCodes. I can feel I'm able to change my career in a short time. SheCodes is easy to understand and give you all the little tricks what helps to work faster and more efficient.
I'm happy to finish this workshop and understand what I'm doing now and what for:) This is a great time I've spent, I'm sure I'll use all my skills in the future! Thanks to the team and Matt!

I am grateful and happy for the opportunity to be able to learn something new and something I thought I never gonna make. It's been fun and interactive. Now I can tell to everyone: "Coding is not boring!" I would highly recommend it to everyone who is up for challenges and especially for those who is currently working in tech. To have been able to go from not knowing really anything about putting an engaging webpage together, to implementing the information right away in challenges and hw projects. It was that kind of practice that really solidified the material for me. I feel like I can just sit around and whip up a quick and simple landing page from start to finish, while getting really creative with it's interaction with the user visually as well as functionally!
Well-structured videos, you never get bored, if you have any struggles, you can always get help on slack. I had amazing 5 weeks, and I am so proud of myself completing the final project. Highly recommend and waiting to start next workshop!

I really enjoyed this 3 week class! It definitely requires your time and attention but the course is easy to digest as its split into separate short courses, with challenges to ensure you have retained the information.

I had such a fun week during the Responsive add-on. I felt I was able to learn something very useful through the real life project which I really love to design, color etc. I can get more creative with these skills and enjoy coding everyday. I don't know what is coming for the React add-on weeks however, I believe I will be happy to learn more!
Loved the flexibility of this certificate. I took the course during the holidays (and my birthday) and had a lot going on so I loved that I could extend the time I needed to complete the course. I went in with ZERO coding experience and feel pretty good about this first step into my coding journey.
I really enjoyed learning to make my website more responsive, and I cannot wait to revisit my portfolio once I have completed all the workshops to update my work and make it more my own~

Matt is an excellent teacher and allows you not only to learn along but also take initaitive whilst doing the assigned challenges.
The lessons are easy to understand and there are a lot of resources provided for students to get assistance with their assignments. Solution videos were really helpful and the ability to re-do assignments for each lessons made it possible to grasp concepts even more.
A great entry into basic website development. Challenging enough to keep your interest but simple enough for those without experience to complete.

Learning code has always been an interest for me but I thought it was something that was not within my reach. Therefore, discovering SheCodes has allowed me to explore my interest and I am truly grateful for this opportunity. Though challenging, this workshop was a great step forward in learning to develop and host websites as well as provide interactive features using Javascript.

Just completed one more amazing WorkShop from SheCodes: React. It was new and challenging, I followed step by step Matt's lessons and then watched them again and again and redid the project few times but in the end I did it! Thank you for the great opportunity to learn and believe in myself.
It wasn't easy, but it worked!
I enjoyed learning about different programming languages other than R and Python, having experience in both helped me understand HTML, CSS, and Javascript more easily. I greatly enjoyed the creative aspect of CSS with all of the aesthetics that could be altered for the project. I also both hated and enjoyed functions in JavaScript and enjoyed learning from both Matt and looking for information and tutorials online. This was an enlightening experience and I have to say - more fun than function writing in Python.
I only just recently graduated from university and found myself questioning what the next chapter for me is. As I continued to do so, I bumped into SheCodes, allowing me to expand on other possible future careers I may be interested in. So far I only completed the first workshop which to my surprise was actually really fun and simple to follow thanks to Matt and his very helpful videos. Would strongly recommend SheCodes to anyone that is looking for a website that contains all the sources they need to learn the basics of coding - HTML, CSS etc.
I would get so overwhelmed with the course but the joy it brought after a successful completed task was pure bliss
