Clear and to the point most of the time. Introduces you to the groundwork you can build further skill on. The lessons are broken down into bite-sized pieces that are easy to absorb, regardless of the amount of time you have.
I am truly learning things that I need to learn from SheCodes.io. I love the fact that Matt is giving us lots of coding projects to practice and introducing new ideas on how to improve our techniques on coding. I admit it's hard but is rewarding when you see the result of your projects and how far you gone from nothing to now able to do it.

Before taking this course I was intimidated by coding and believed it was too difficult for me and not something I could easily learn. However, after taking SheCodes Basic I realized that coding is not as scary as I thought and I am capable of learning this new skill. After watching Matthieu's easy-to-digest videos, practicing on my own time, and completing assignments I feel confident about my ability to continue to learn how to code.
Learning advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript makes me feel more prepared for my future career. I'm excited to apply these skills towards my future projects and more importantly, understand how my work as a UX/UI designer effects developers.

I love the course. I found the lesson with Matt particularly good as he isn't following a strict script. If he makes a mistake or something doesn't he shows how he would really handle it. It shows us the reality of coding. I am also very impressed with the whole company, the team and the work they put into the courses, the challenge and all the extra like the sheCodes upload, the colour and gradients, the challenges every few weeks,... it really shows their passions.😉

sheCodes is such a wonderful platform to learn coding, such a wonderful and fun experience! Even though it's challenging at times, i had a great time learning with Matt, he teaches every lesson with simplicity.
Well, what to add. The structure of course, hints from Matt, everything, literally everything was so good that I was able to do final project for 2.5 hours. Of couse, before of it were weeks (including so needed extensions) dedicated to deep learning of documentation and investigating, but in the end I'm very proud of myself. I did it, and you will.
The final project was interesting to build !!
I really enjoyed the SheCodes basics course. I didn't know if I was going to enjoy learning how to code, but I had so much fun doing the challenges each week. What I enjoyed the most is that the course isn't dense and you can learn at a comfortable pace that suits your schedule. I'm looking forward to starting the next course! I enjoyed this month of learning html, css and Javascript. It was easy to navigate through lessons, was easy to understand how to do homework and was fun doing projects in the end of each week. The information was very clear and easy to understand. I would recommend this course to other beginners.
This process was very helpful even in the middle of running a store. The walk through of each course made it easy to follow along and understand exactly what you are doing!
