This workshop has been the most fun I have had in a while. I originally signed up to learn something new and maybe start a new career, it challenged my brain in ways it hasn't been challenged since University. I've loved learning again at my age, it's been fascinating working behind the scenes after being a graphic designer since the late 80s. I am super impressed with the set up of SheCodes and the very clear way in which the fantastic tutor, Matt, is able to explain the most seemingly confusing new language of numbers, letters and punctuation marks. I highly recommend this course, not just for those seeking a new career in coding but to widen your knowledge and have a better understanding of what your web designers do all day!
This was very tough at first, I learnt a lot and had a lot of fun and look forward to continue to the next workshop in the future!

It's really useful for me and for women. We can improve our coding skills through SheCodes. The chance to get coding skills is in our hand by online learning on SheCodes everywhere everytime.
I was really nervous starting out at the workshop and I thought it would difficult for me but it has actually been the opposite. I have enjoyed every lesson so far and Matt has been a great teacher and the challenges have been super fun and very engaging! I would definitely recommend the workshop to all beginners in programming. I can wait to start SheCodes+!😄

I recently completed the SheCodes Basics Workshop and it was an amazing experience. The program is comprehensive, supportive, and engaging, and provides a great foundation for anyone interested in coding.
Before this course I could not have opened html and known what I was looking at. Now I can comfortably navigate and make a single page with interactions. This course means so much to me. So grateful that Matt and his team cared for those of us that don't have any other way of learning these skills at this price. I can't wait to keep learning and build on this knowledge foundation.
I like the way Matt Delac explains the concepts step by step and brings out the picture of real-world scenarios, for example, the use of Google and experimenting with the CSS codes

I had so much fun working on this add-on basics project. I loved how the lessons are structured for the week of this project and how I got to work on a specific CSS property after every lesson . So, when it was time to work on the final project, I had already done most of the work through challenges. LOVED it!

I had an absolutely fantastic learning experience with SheCodes! At first, I thought that it would be impossible for me to develop an entire weather app, but the process turned out to be incredibly captivating and enjoyable. I mostly enjoyed working with API's, even though it was the hardest past for me. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who want to start their coding journey!

I have always wanted to start my career in tech. But as someone who always worked as an office assistant, it was hard to move into that field. This course allowed me to learn and gain experience in tech. Hopefully, by the end of this, I will be able to step out of being an assistant and become something I want to be and do something I enjoy.

I enjoyed the structure of SheCodes video lessons. They gave enough detail to understand the concepts, while being short enough to keep your attention, and stay manageable. I enjoyed the small challenges and homework, because these were great ways to practice the concepts.

I am very grateful to Matt for helping me learn how to code via Shecodes. I am a mom to an 8 month old baby and it was not easy having to attend class and take care of my baby at the same time. However the way this workshop was design, it made it easy for me to learn whenever I was free. Due to this program I am now very much interested in doing more coding and furthering my studies.

Very good and intensive course on building responsive websites. Great experience on how to work with all the aspects of HTML and CSS, Bootstrap and other web development tools. I have learned a lot of new skills. Perfect example how a web developer job could look like for a agency or small business.
I feel delighted and impressed to see the progress I have made upon completing the introductory course. I started the course without knowing anything about programming, and during these weeks, I successfully coded and completed my projects. I am very excited about the idea of continuing to learn and thus achieving new professional opportunities. Having completed the SheCodes Basics program, I was initially apprehensive about whether I would be able to keep up with the curriculum as it involved a new programming language (Javascript). However, from day one, Matt's lessons were comprehensive, the community was supportive. As I said in the previous testimonial I gave on completing the Basics, what I appreciated most about the SheCodes was the emphasis on hands-on, project-based learning. Instead of just reading about coding concepts in a textbook or watching lectures, we were actually coding from day one. Not only did this help solidify the concepts we were learning, but it also made the learning process more enjoyable and engaging. It's undeniable that there were hard times but going through the videos and working on the weekly projects helped me get better at it. I spent weeks trying to learn HTML, CSS, and Java script. Matt explained it clearly in 3 days. I learned how to implement new design ideas and use basic functions. I am extremely impressed by this workshop. Since the workshop is go at your own pace, I completed the entire workshop in 3 days time and built a basic functional website that is appealing. Thank you!

Within 3 weeks with SheCodes, I've learnt how to do a landing page that I'm proud of. I can say that SheCodes helped with my confidence and self-esteem in this last few weeks.
